Missionary Report

Today, Bryce was able to go and give a report of his mission to the High Council in our Stake.  He was asked what lessons he had learned since being home.  His reply was that he had learned to have more compassion for others and not to judge, because we never fully know what they might be going through.

This past week we have talked about how much we miss our visits in the car when driving to doctors appointments.  He is still going to the doctor for various things, but he is usually driving himself now.
Bryce is waiting to hear from a doctor who is over Entyvio infusions.  He was referred there by Dr Poole.  It was unfortunate that the Humira injections didn't work.  Due to his allergic reaction to the shots, he is now onto something else.  His Humira injections were only $5 and we have no idea how much his Entyvio injections will be.

We took him in to see Dr Barlow for an ear/sinus problem.  He has developed, within a month, a calcium deposit on his eardrum.  They ran a tympanic test and the pressure in both ears is not looking good.   Dr Barlow discussed the possibility of putting tubes in his ears to relieve some of the pressure.
He also has Haller Cells in his sinuses causing some of his sinus pain and pressure.
Dr Barlow is also running some more detailed blood tests and scans to look at Bryce's Thyroid glands.

Bryce is finishing up his 17 credit hour semester at Weber State.  He has hiked all over campus and has been able to keep up with his homework.  He has days where it is very difficult to get around campus, but he somehow manages to push through each day.  We are grateful for prayers and the faith of those who fast and pray for him.

Next week Bryce will be reporting on his mission in our sacrament meeting.  We are excited to hear him speak and hear how his testimony has grown.  He has been an amazing young man.  I have watched him endure faithfully through the trials he has been given.  We know that our Father in Heaven is very much aware of what we are going through and He continues to bless us.  We are indebted to our Savior for His sacrifice and for carrying our burdens for us.  We love being surrounded by friends who keep us going-You brighten our day!  We are grateful for blessings that come from having the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.
