Hola Familia!

Wow! Can you believe that it is Christmas?! Time goes by so fast. Well, this week has been really crazy. So quickly with the questions.
1. Yes we will be skyping. I will need to talk with you guys (probably through email) about this.
2. Yes we have a telephone number, but we can't call you.
3. We will be skyping at about 11 our time. 10 your guys time. So that means you will have to get up early to open the presents and stuff. :)
4. We have about 30-40 minutes to talk.
5. I am really excited to talk, but I know that it is going to be really hard to say goodbye. Especially since we will be seeing each other. But I am excited.

Well, that is all of the questions. I realized that I forgot to ask for something last time, but it is ok. I was wanting some more of the sharpie pens, but just black. My other one is running out. But, you can send it when you have time.

Well, this week has been really crazy. So, Tuesday night, I received a call. It was one of the assistants to the President, and he told me that I was going to have changes Thursday (the 20). I was so sad. So, the next day we went to the temple as a zone and it was really great. I received many answers that I needed and also the comfort that I needed for the coming change. I knew that the new area is where the Lord wanted me to be. So, after the temple, we came back and I began packing. After I had most everything packed, we went to our meeting with the ward mission leader. We gave the sad news and said our goodbyes. We then visited select families and said our goodbyes. It was really sad, but I new it was the will of the Lord. So, we got home and then at 11 in the night, President called. He talked to Elder Leonardo, and told him that we were no longer having changes! We were so excited! We broke out the Dr. Pepper and had a little celebration. (It was a worthy cause to drink Dr. Pepper, also I wasn't sure how I would pack it)

So, I am still here in Paleca, with Elder Leonardo. However, President said that we are going to have changes after Christmas. When, we don't know. I hope that it is after this Saturday, because we have 4 baptisms this Saturday. Also, Hermana Elizabeth, to my great surprise, chose me to baptize her. It was a great honor. We have planned to baptize her and one of her kids, Manuel, and two other youth, Michael and Fabiola. They are all really great. So, pray that I may be able to stay here till Saturday, so that I can be here for the baptism. Nevertheless, if the Lord wants me to leave, I will go. So, that has been my crazy week. Full of happiness and saddness. I am just grateful to be able to be here for a little while longer. Well, I love you guys so much and am glad that everything is going well. That is really cool about Carlos and Juan. I am really excited for them. Well, I will see you guys tomorrow! Merry Christmas!

Love,
Elder Bryce Rodney Hales

I will think of some stories to tell. Well, tell everyone Hi and that I love them and I hope that you guys have a great Christmas tomorrow. So, I will see you tomorrow sometime between the hours of 9-11 for you guys and 10-12 for me. Well, I love you guys!

Right now we are having our zone Christmas Party and we are going to eat soon.
Well, See you tomorrow!

Love,
Elder Bryce Rodney Hales

Hola mi hermano! (Matt)

Well, everything here in El Salvador is going just great. I can't believe how fast the time goes by. Well, I really like the quote you gave me. It is realy good. I really need to bring some paper so I can write down these quotes. Oh well. Well, Christmas has come, and it will be over before we know it. I have really grown to love the Christmas story. We have been teaching it a lot to the members and investigators, and I learn something new everytime. It is amazing. Well, I love you bro, and I will see you tomorrow. It is going to be great and crazy!

Love,

Elder Bryce Rodney Hales

"People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."
-Mother Teresa

Yo Tyguy!
Well, the weather here is normal. Hot and humid. However there has been a nice wind going on. That is crazy about the bomb threat at school. It is crazy what the world is coming to. Yeah, nothing really happened on the 21 of December. It was really quiet and tranquilo.

Yeah, I remember my first sacrament meeting in Spanish. It was crazy. It is amazing at how mentally draining it is. The more and more that you practice though, the less tiring it becomes. The same with basically anything. So, if you want to learn Spanish, keep practicing with Matt. That would be cool if the three bros could all speak Spanish when I get home. We could keep so many secrets! hahaha

Well bro, I love you a ton and hope that you have a great Christmas. See you tomorrow!

Love,

Elder Bryce Rodney Hales
