Dear Familia,

Wow, thank you so much! I can`t believe that it cost that much to send a package.  ($95- 20lbs)  Sorry.  

Anyway, my hand is doing a lot better, it still is pretty bruised, but the swelling has gone down a lot. It was really huge. I can actually write with it now, but I still have limited movement with my thumb, so its hard to tie a tie and stuff like that. However, I can now write with my left hand pretty decently. That was actually a pretty nice blessing to have, being able to write with both hands. 

I can`t believe that I only have one more week here in the CCM. It is really crazy. I did also happen to get some of the scripture cases here. They are really cool. That is really cool about your experience with Juan too. I`ll have to keep my eye out for his family so I can send some stuff home, but I`ll have to get it down there because I don`t have much space to buy a bunch of extra things. 

Yesterday was a really great day because I got to play volleyball again. It was a lot of fun. I could only play with my left hand, but it was worth it. It was a ton of fun. Most of the time I would just sit and watch the others play because I couldn't do very much with a hurt hand. So, yeah, it was a lot of fun.

Letter to Matt:

Hey Bro,

Yeah sorry for all the surprise attacks, but they really messed with our scheldule here. I will be writing on Saturday, at least for one more week. It is crazy that I am almost done with my CCM experience.

The Conference was amazing. I learned so much. One of my favorite talks was by President Monson, the one you got the quote from. It made me think of my friend J.   I have a favor to ask of you, when you receive a letter for J, dated October 7, I want you to give him the Book of Mormon I had for him too. You can give it anyway you want, but I think that it would also help if you bore your testimony or something like that too. During the Conference I just had a really strong impression to write to him and have you guys give him a Book of Mormon. So if you could do that, that would be great. 

Well bro, I love you a ton and am grateful for all the advise you have given me. May the Lord be with us in all that we do.
